BITSMUN over the years has established itself as one of the biggest conferences in the country, boasting a high quality of debating with over 800 participants from different parts of the world coming in to mull over the issues that plague our world today.
In its fourth year of existence, BITSMUN has grown exponentially to the top of the pyramid, bringing many new elements to add to the MUN experience. The Society, apart from its core competency in organising a worthy debate, has strived to make the participants' stay at Pilani worthwhile by introducing several other events such as a Speakers' Conclave, a Rock Nite and a Cultural Fest.
It is the first MUN in the country to have been held simultaneously across two cities, blending in the old beauty of a town like Pilani with the fast-paced modern architecture of Hyderabad 2000 km away. This helps in bringing together students from all parts of the country, apart from the overseas participants from countries like Sri Lanka, Japan, United Kingdom, Switzerland and many more.
